Just As Clouds Reflect Your Thoughts

Blue as I
A refreshing sigh
Your forecast
My outfit
Your overcast
My raincoat
I wear you
As though,
You were me
If only you say so daily

Behind the clouds I pry
To your sudden goodbye
Denied of you like a free bird
My soul is caged
Your scarlet
My beautiful sunset
Alike in mood and temperament
Translucent
Just as I’m blind to my own faults
You are blinded by your thunderbolts
The sun shines following a hurricane
Forgiveness written in your rainbow after the rain
We are like the night,
Stars that shine bright
Stars that fall down
Stars stillborn
Those that illuminate effervescently
And those that pale in subtlety
