Just Another Place

When you're away and I crawl into bed,
I miss your gentle touch on my tired face,
It's then I know when all is done and said--
Without you, this is just another place.

That pillow seems so empty when you're gone--
The one by mine where you once laid your head.
The nights are lonely when I sleep alone;
Without you this is just another bed.

My darling I have loved you all my life.
I even love your days I could not know;
And where I wander in this world of strife
Without you's just another place to go.
