Just Another Day In my Mind
Here inside my Mind
There's lots of things to find
Like an Attic
There I go back
In Time
Now you may think me mad
But everything there to be had
Is Magical
And Mystical
Never thought bad
There I think the things that I thought
Of all the lessons taught
Lessons from the past
Lessons that last
Of Battles fought
I learned from my Master
Lessons learned are lasters
I was quick to learn
In my mind the lessons were burned
In fact, I was so good, I turned my Master's face to Alabaster
But there was no fake Magic
No type of Trick tragic
The lessons that I learned were practical
In that way they were magical
Never drastic
The only thing is my Attic is haunted
Me the Ghost has taunted
There's something evil
About the old devil
That's something that I never wanted
My Master used his wisdom
To close up my Mind's schism
Me he wouldn't tell
What was it in his Spell
He gave me an Exorsism
My mind he did heal
And better I did feel
But one thing went wrong
I forgot how to sing my Songs
And that makes me feel surreal
At least I can still dance
While wearing my Black Suit, Cane and Hat
I wouldn't take a chance
About it to rave and rant
Not cause I can, I can't
Here's the thing
What to me it means
Yes, I'm with the Band
With them I can still jam
But my son's I can no longer sing
Now, I'm a Drummer
And it's a bummer
That I can't sing my own songs
Something went wrong
Maybe it's the heat of the hot, humid Summer?
I asked my Master a lot
I was suffering from can't sing Singers Shock
He said, "I will research it, you see."
And then he came back to me
He said, "Your Mind has a Writer's Block."
Then he said, "We have to reverse the Spell
"And bring back the devil from hell"
"Now, he's running a little bit Pell Mell"
"Of doing more damage there's no way to tell."
"Let's just hope that everything goes swell."
So, on this Dark Stormy Night
My Master told me to close my eyes
And then he did me Hypnotize
He then summoned The Lord Of The Flies
To come with no surprise
Some new Spell my Master said
In my mind, something rushed in undead
He was trying to reverse
What he thought was this curse
My eyes flashed open and they were both Blood -Red
My Master knew that this was going to be hard
So he decided to turn over a Friendly Card
He turned over a red Ace
And saw the devil's face
And the devil made me attack my Master
I fought with myself
I didn't want to hurt anyone else
It was quite a show
Then all of a sudden, the devil let go
But I still needed my Master's help
My Master decided that he needed to do the Exorcism backward
And to also say backward the Holy Words
He thought to use a Cross in this War
The Raven Bird said, "Evermore."
Well, I knew what that was for
What surprised me is that he also had a sword
The whole thing was quite ludicrous
Such a strange deranged scene was this
My Master slowly said, "Let us begin."
The whole thing was quite Ludacrous
Such a strange deranged scene as this
My Master slowly said, "Let's begin."
"And finally try to destroy the devil and his sin."
The devil howled and hissed
My Master did the Cross take
And set it on my head to make
My Body Blessed
He was doing his best
And with the Sword he asked The Lord
For strength, for God's sake
I fought with myself
I did want to hurt anyone else
It was a quick show
Then the devil let go
But I still needed my Master's help
The devil cried out and screamed
He made a terrible surreal scene
The devil fought mean
Harder than my Master had ever seen
While My Master was trying to reverse the Curse on me
We fought the devil all night long
To get me back to singing my songs
The devil fought tough
But we fought tough
The devil did draw some blood, just enough
Before My Master and my blood-shot Eyes
There was waiting a real surprise
Angels and Saints came down from on high
I asked what?
My Master said so I don't die
The Angels and Saints that came down from above
We're The Angels and Saints of Love
They cast the devil aside
But he couldn't run and hide
There was nothing to save himself that he could think of
On Saint was the Arch Angle Michael
And the other Angel was Arch Angle Raphael
The attached the devil two on one
The Battle had truly begun
To send the devil back to hell
Saints Michael and Raphael
Tag-Teamed the devil
To get rid of this foul evil
The interviened so that devil couldn't seal
Me in the devil's deal
Saint Michael was to fight the devil first
He grabbed him by the arms and recited a Bible Verse
The lowly devil fell down
Saint Michael really laid him down
And he waited for the devil to do his worst
Saint Raphael was next
With his wings spread, he really gave him heck
He grabbed the devil by his neck
And the Lord's Prayer he said
The devil became a wreck
It was Saint Michael's turn again
He cried, "I'll get him in the end."
Then he said, "Back to hell, he I will send
My foul evil friend
He wanted to play the game to the end, but he didn't know when
Now again, it was Raphael's turn
To send this devil back to burn
He said wore a holy Cross Charm and from his eyes a blaze that cut clean off the devil's arm
The devil had lost his nerve
This wasn't like before
Saint Raphael was determined to end the war
He opened up the Perception Door
This was something more
He loosed the Holy Angels and Saints board
Now, how did we end the war, you say
On That fateful day
With all of the Players in play?
We held sway
The devil simply ran away
Yes, that's just another day in my Mind
I hope it delightful you did find
That's the way of my Brain
Makes some people insane
Happens every time
The Moral of the Story is just this:
An insane Brain
Keeps the devil away
More or Less...
