Just Another Day

Just another day

Same old, same old,
Just another day,
Nothing ever changes,
Bills still to pay,
So many problems,
Reside in my head,
Struggling, struggling,
To get out of bed.

Stretching, yawning,
Checking the clock,
Fearing today,
The postman will knock.
Sign for the letter,
He holds in his hand,
I know what it says,
A final demand.

Worry, worry,
That's all I can do,
No money is spare,
To pay what is due,
Frightened, depressed,
How can I pay?
The same old, same old,
Worries each day.
