Just a Whisper Away

Whispering to the wind
Hoping she'll answer back
Whisper to the evening
As the day skies turn to black

Whisper to the flowers
On the table where they lie
Asking why you've cut them
And just left them there to die

When you whisper to yourself
Do you ever whisper back
Do ever lie right to your face
Is it honesty you lack

When I whisper to the wind
She never answers back
And Im stuck here in this darkness
And my whole world turns to black

When I whisper to the flowers
On the table where they lie
I cannot explain why I cut them
Then just left them there to die

I whisper to myself
I never answer back
I lie and say Im happy
When friendships what I lack

I think now Ill try and whisper
To someone up above
Maybe someone will hear me
Send me someone to love
