Just a Weed

Dandiest of lions, roaming freely in your fertile field, Feral kitty don’t succumb to pressure, let not your spirit yield, Lie in the sun, relax, repose, You are of the field, as of the garden is the rose.

I love this portrayal of the dandelion, William which as you imply, is often treated with disdain despite having valuable uses. I can see beauty in the simple wildflowers just as much as the most expensive rose. A short and sweet poem but so well executed.
