Just a Thought

There are moments in life we always remember, Places and people to which we always surrender. The friends we make as we go through life, Especially those who have helped us when we had some strife. Remember the kids in that first class at school, Some we fought with, others we thought were oh so "cool". The few close friends with whom we could share, Our darkest secrets and passions, the ones we trusted would always care. As we became older we became wiser too, Because of all the teachers who challenged us in what we should do. The years passed and different ones would take their places, In that line of our life's renewal, I can still see their faces. Then came the day when we would move on, Different schools, different friends, looking at a new horizon. We came together on that final day as a class, Feeling the trepidation and angst, knowing how it too must now pass. It was our time for cap and gown and a diploma celebration, The memories of it all, the excitement and jubilation of our Graduation!
