Just a Thin Blue Ribbon

Just a thin blue ribbon
Ironically I
See it different reaching
Up to thee
Just a thin blue ribbon
Life as it is in balance
Earth its full stage
Sage
I am caught up
In the gleaming
Of its eyes
Looking back
I have cried
Just a thin
Blue ribbon it
Does not lie
The eternal skies
Of ages
I find each day
Still the same yet unexpected
As it ages colorful of
Ironic faces
