Just a Spark

Now-
         what to make of this?
                                         We fade away with time.
How-
         not to let this kiss
                                    erase this heart of mine...
Seven-
           times this flame,
                                    driven against my flesh
Heaven-
             looks the same,
                                     forgiven, once in death.
the view-
              from up above
                                    forgives the pain I've borne
In lieu-
            of Heaven's love;
                                      it is still due to scorn...
Tonight-
             is it in vain?
                               I see the world go dark
The light-
              just shows the pain;
                                            could it be it's just a spark?

it always changes over time, love that is... there is always a spark at the beginning, but so many times it goes out...
