Just a Simple Thing
Kiss me just a little while
and tell me of pretty things
soothe me and console my heart
and shower me with rings
Give unto me your happy songs
bring them to my door
I only wish to know you
and let my love grow ever more
Nurish me in this summer eve
and rest my worried mind
give to me your blessing love
and I will return it to you in kind
