Just a Pair of Kids

	      They had their chances
She had hers; he had his

               Furtive glances
                   just a pair of kids

Not a single word did they exchange
                    no rendezvous ever arranged

                Even nature seemed to agree
their initials never carved in a tree

Feels like a nice catch of some nostalgic childhood moments.

Actually, this is autobiographical in nature. Joke's on me.

Yup, sure does happen. Perhaps, they are not setup with Mr. or Ms. Right…missed the boat that sailed through their classroom.

I like this Gershon. Really good imagery here of a boy and a girl growing up together from babyhood. Nice job. God Bless, JB

From 'babyhood' to the mean streets of 'the hood.'
