Just a Momentary Lapse of Reason
Memories come back to me ,
Like the tides of a calm sea
Bringing a twinkle and a smile
Even if it all meant just for a while
Kiss on my lips,
A hug filled with warmth,
Hours of chatter
As if nothing else mattered
A feeling of joy,
The moment was mine
A girl like giggle
And I felt divine
To define it and name,
It would never be the same,
Eyes that felt warm
A heart that felt love
Alas!!! just a momentary lapse of reason ?
For life in my treasure trove.
