Just a Memory

He stumbles, his mind confused. . .

Where is he going? where is he excaping to?

Rain. . .the face echos in his mind. . .

a smileing strawberry blond beauty. . .

oh so full of undeniable love. . .

eyes sparkeling silver blue green in the sunlight,

sprinkeling though the canopy of trees. . .

just a memory. . . oh darling. . . just an illusion. . .

her voice whispers in his ear. . .

leaving warmth of faded kisses on his skin. . .

he treks on, willing his body to move. . .

he needs to find her. . . but he is so lost. . .

her tender lips leave imprints against his skin. . .

burning warm in the icy coldness. . .

he mumbles aloud. . . rain. . .

a pleading whisper, begging to remain sain. . .

he sees her in his mind. . .

but i am just an illusion, oh darling i am just, a memory. . .
