Just a Dream Away
Each day is like the other day
I do the same ole thing in the same ole way.
There is no you during my daylight hours
The nights are enchanted, sparked with powers.
You come to me in the depth of night
And make everything all right.
I can feel your every touch
You, I want very much.
We take walks in the park
We make love in the dark.
When the night began to turn into day
I am not afraid because I know
You are only a dream away.
I open my eyes with a smile on my lips
I can still feel the trail of your fingertips
Your words are still so vivid to me
I cannot overlook the ecstasy.
Whenever each day turns into that same old thing
I remind myself of what the night will bring.
I sit back with a smile and say
Love is just a dream away.
