Junior Handles His Own Problems At School
Junior Handles His Own Problems At School
By Elton Camp
Junior tried to discuss things with his dad
Enough time to hear him out, he never had
“A bully is beating me up most every day.
A teacher is treating me the wrong way.”
The newspaper he lowered with disgust
To make some reply he felt that he must
“Son, can’t you see that I’m trying to rest.
Handle it yourself, however you think best.”
Junior continued to bear it alone for a while
Then he got an idea that bought a big smile
Since his dad wouldn’t come to his rescue,
He decided that he knew what he had to do
His father’s pistol in his backpack did conceal
He’d show them all the frustration he did feel
When the cops came pounding on the door
The father surely wished he’d listened more
