Jungle Adventure
My lifetime dream is about to take place
A trip so spectacular it creates a smile lighting up my whole face
Camera in hand I board the tour bus
The roar of the mighty lions a greeting surely directed at us
Mischievous monkeys scatter from high atop trees in a quick flash
Rays of the sun reflect on a herd of hungry hippos eager to splash
Impressive elephants cross right in front of us
Lofty giraffes snacking on leaves look down checking out all the fuss
Darkness starts to creep in as the jungle starts to fall asleep
The excitement of this adventure has reached its peak
Lasting memories of the journey I will cherish forever
Thanks to the animals who made it so much better
