June Sixth

June 6th Early in the war The very of the Panzers chilled general to their core But by 42 there cracks in that lore The next year when the boot fell the sea became the choice to knock down Hitler’s door Then the choosing of a strike point came to the fore The Riche was sure that it would from England’s wool port in the days of yore Because they had to believe the lore of the wall This is why Eich decided to land on William’s shore The enemy did not expect a snake behind this door When the invasion was successful on June 6th ,1944 It signaled the end of the European war
