June
How easily the garden flows
a color palette laid open
beneath the May rain tokens.
Immersing transformation
from dark brown blackened earth
giving to the rise of flower rebirth.
Winding paths, well-traveled and well worn
twisting and turning beneath the sycamore and sage
balancing the seasons with each stage.
Brushed strokes of winds awake
pushing leaves aside for the sun to bake
warm delights teasing buddings out of night.
June revives the garden as it grows
releases the stress of winter hold
and with the light everything renews its life.
