July 22nd

On July 22nd, sometime the afternoon, A small and black object fell into the ocean’s gloom. And though I dived for it, a friend by my side. I did not find this object, so in the ocean it resides. It may have been high tide, but we were determined. A lost cause though, the internet confirmed it. And so I have lost my photos, my videos as well, My contacts, alarm, and camera, in water will forever dwell. The former irreplaceable, the holder quite easily, And so I’ll get a new one, and look after it ceaselessly. It was not the best of tech, so it was not the most expensive. But losing my dear flip phone has left me quite pensive.

It was momentarily devastating I imagine. Thank you for sharing. My daughter’s fiancé accidentally dropped her cellphone into a lake 18 years ago. Six children later she has probably forgotten it. They are going to the lake this weekend, but I doubt they find it.
