Juicing Up My Walk
Juicing up my walk
i just wanted to talk
but, you wanted to just pass by
as i wanted only to fly,
the highway in the sky
gives a better view of the earth below
the objects in view
seem so hidden in shadows
but, the sun brightens the way
and the shadows does not matter
only the night does it flatters,
and my day
is my way
i am always the brighter
Hey, slow down your fleeing heart
see what i am trying to impart
some bit of news, some feeling,
that you can use, awsome feeling
your heart will beat just a little stronger
i am no time monger
just wanted to talk
while i walk
this lonely highway
just do not pass me by
take to the sky
and fly with me
and listen for just a while
i will let you go after a mile
to two, just in time for supper
and i will have had my upper
and lip stilled for another day
is such a small price to pay
to give a little ear today....
