Judgement
Who are we to judge another
One we call sister or brother
Rich or poor, fat or thin
We're the same beneath the skin
From the truth we turn and flee
Seeing what want to see
We turn from those in need
Thinking only of selfish greed
Are we so self invested
Ignoring those that are sorely tested
What cost a kindly word
That's so seldom heard
But, what if roles reverse
Do we stand and curse?
Do we beg and plead
For the help we need?
Are we normal, are we sane?
A question asked again and again.
