Judas In the Mirror

In darkened shadows Focused on unsuspecting prey Never would they see Until venom filled their veins Trapped in captivity With no escape Helpless and motionless Their corpse mine to take Freedom, a woven coffin Breaths of air, a luxury Fear is all that is left Only fear and me Patience is thin The end will be soon One step closer As I make my move But paralysis prohibits progress All movement has ceased And all of these walls Cave in around me Nowhere left to run Nowhere left to hide Trapped in my own prison Reflecting inside Enveloped in this grave I made There is nothing left to bleed All along the unsuspecting victim Was me
