Judas Goat

You led me by the nose, trailing
just behind you
Through shadow, with my heart
aflame
I tried to shake a sense of inner
dread
But I kept up with you just the
same

We string along, gaze to the ground
You knowingly show the way
There's safety in numbers, the kids are all told
You're never safe as a stray

You wound around to spin my
head
Hoping I would lose my way
You'd think I found the obvious
I only found today

(Chorus)
You walk around to draw us in
To draw your blade across our
throats
You lead us on, you know the
way
To our doom, you Judas Goat

Huddling up, view to the sky
Are we finally here?
Something is wrong, terribly long
A chute to the slaughter
