Notes About The Poem

Joys of a Simple Soul

“The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of God lasts forever."
           ......................

As beautiful the depth of the sea,
As fantastic as the first snowfall
can be,
As gorgeous as a butterfly can be,
It is you,my Lord, who surpasses
all of these!

Let me appreciate all your wonders
with humble certainty,
Let me not make a god of trees,
Let me never forget, who made all
of the seas.

Hi, dear friend. My parents saw to it to learn to love God, they sure did, including all my fanily, meaning autbts and uncles. Church and Church holidays were a must. Plus giving to the poirwas another must. Todays world is not like that, its a selfish place. Everyone wants the most money or nose prizes? Kids need help in schools, okd people might need frids, butvwe aew too selfish. Even at the soup we wont read others unless they read us? Why not? Are we really all that hot? I thinks that Is really selfish. Thank you gor your lively words. I know you care about people ob other countries, in word and in deed. Huggs,mPangie

For sure, it was meant to remind us all to be humble! The world is constantly searching to be above one another, creating, envy. I am odd! God is the judge of my poetry only..and valued friends here and on other sites. I still have a long was to go. Thanks for being a support. Merci, Panagiota
