Joy of Infancy

A flying elephant
I wish I could be;
in glowing elegance
clear for all to see.
Yet a crying infant
buzzing as a bee;
ignorant of the substance
that is holding me.
I hear them say: I'll also grow.
Till then, I have no idea
but I long to just glow
concretising my fantasies to be real.
It's fun being your own lord
with a view unlike that of the world
