Joy and Light

The Sabbath is a Joy and Light
to those who taste of its delight
Sanctify the bread and wine
  Greet the Angels, candles shine

Momma's dishes ace the test
  Poppa's dressed in Shabbos best
Children tell their Bible stories
Heaven beams in all her Glory

Three thousand years of Faith the wait
In God our Faith, not 'Chance' or 'Fate' ~
Now the Sabbath blesses all Israel
Our Promised Land, the Jewish State

You are a good man Mr. Gershon Wolf - I think that when you combine religion and tradition and the ethos and norms of ones Nation are upheld, and family with Godly existence persists, what more could one wish for! Hugs and blessings, Shalom Gershon.

Your analysis is spot on, Jennifer. It really is. The Seven Noachide Commandments, incumbent upon all mankind -- no idolatry, no murder, no adultery, no stealing, no blaspheme, establishing courts of justice, and not eating from a live animal's limb -- have all been upended thanks to the decline of religion and the family. Today it's murder, theft, adultery, and blaspheme leading the way. No wonder the world has gone mad... :) gw
