Joy
Looking forward to what’s coming after
An eternal life, bursting with beauty and laughter
A life with no pain, no ugliness no shame
where you’re free to be who you are
to shine like a star, enveloped in love
What a day that will be, to finally be free
Of all the darkness and evil that burden us down
Leaving behind all the sadness
all the hurt and the grief
To take in all His Glory, to sit at my Savior’s feet
the one who died, Jesus Christ
He died for me
But that time is not yet, so I’ll be content
spending my time, sharing His truth
Open and honest, for the entire world to see
See the joy of God’s love, living in me
