Journeys 4-17-99

Up and down
Back and forth
East or West?
North or South?

So many paths
Each twist and turn
Stumbling blindly
So much yet to learn.

Everything spinning
Life’s out of hand
Questions unanswered
All these demands.

So much deception
So much must hide
Who should we trust?
How do we decide?

So much to do
And not enough time
Praying and hoping
Rhythm and rhyme.

Learning and listen
Decisions to make
Stop or go?
So much is at stake.

We go through so much
Unaided by friends
Life’s full of pain
Beginnings and ends.

And yet we survive
Through some strange twist of fate
We continue our journey
Never stopping to wait.
