Journey Out
Journey out to clean crisp air
Out beyond and over where
Giant trees reach for the sky
Butterflies flutter by
Wombats dig within the dirt
Bowerbirds woo and flirt
Decorating brighter blue
Nature's love must pass onto
The mate to lay and incubate
Eggs to hatch from the wait
Of timeless time to nurture young
As evolution has begun
Life will be forevermore
For the aves we all adore.
The animals will be just fine
On the land that is divine
Providing that we all respect
Care for them and reconnect
Let them be, to be aware
Our land, our world, our people share
Whilst daylight shines a golden glow
Upon the Earth and all below.
