Jottings

1. I am a poetry book. My title is "Jottings"

2. This book contains many chapters dealing with those things
in which I bask, meaning, the things that brighten my life.
This book includes my reflection on life and love,
recollections of happy times, humorous things,
my family, pets and grandkids.

3. My favorite poem in my Poetry Book is the Intro poem.
It's in senryu form and it reads as follows:

Jottings

tatty old notebook

sonnets scribbled in pencil

hopefully some gems

Hey, Margaret. This is awesome. I want to tell you something. I saw other entries that put an intro to their senryu. TElling "I am a book and my title is, and my book is about. . . ." I didn't realize it was necessary to do this so I asked Linda. and she prefers it that way. Check out how I redid mine. Or check Karen's. All you need to do is put an intro to this. I think it could get a top place! Luv, Andrea

Margaret, that sums it up nicely. It is succinct. That's all we can ever aspire to, my dear. Some true jewels amidst the scattered sheets of scribblings. Thank you for your kind remarks! Regards, Gerard.
