Joromi My Love

Joromi, hear my plea
for I am a genuine lover that will never flee.
i have searched all around the countries of Africa,
Joromi, your curves are well etched like the map of America;

Your beautiful eyes are like a deer's,
your gait like a gazelle's; your voice melodious to the ears.
I want to feel the smoothness of your pretty skin,
for your beauty is making my head spin! ;

Joromi, beautiful like the Sea goddess Yemoja
black, shinny like the tanned colour of warlord Afonja.
It is your thoughts that fills my every day
and in my dreams you hold sway;

Be mine to keep Joromi my heart most wanted,
for I know amongst beautiful birds, you're the most hunted.
You'll be my queen, I your king,
and our love will be for all to sing.
