Joke

What is this? Some kind of joke?
Are you testing the strength of my heart? It broke.
Since the day that you walked out the door,
Yelling because you couldn't take it anymore,
My heart has been reduced to the strength of its individual pieces.
Don't you realize how hard this is?
It's killing me slowly, wearing me down.
If you'd just come back, we could work this out.
If this is a joke, baby, please, come home,
And even if it's not, don't make me live alone.
