PS. My favorite John Ford was "The Searchers" (as you mentioned)...I love the wonderful scene with John Wayne standing in the doorway from inside the dark cabin, then we watch as he walks away .... the directing was terrific!

Indeed those legends do seem bigger than life, Gerard. You create visions of an entire epic filled with bold, courageous characters in just a few words. Very nice! Love, Carolyn
