Notes About The Poem

A man named Nicodemus

A person of some power

Came to Jesus in the night

So late was the hour

Can I see God in heaven

The question that he put

Jesus answered straight to him

You never will on foot

If  you are of flesh

Then of the flesh you stay

You need to be of Spirit born

There is no other way

So if from the flesh were born

You die in such a way

Pray you will be born again

From the Spirit as I say
