Jim and Lil Part 1

Dear old Jim and Lil, Have caused quite a stir; Who would have thought, Their love would occur; You see old Jim and Lil, Fell in love at eighty nine; When at the old age home, Their hearts did entwine. Yet it's a great friendship, That others are trying to quell, Now the busybodies, Are trying to make their life hell; " They say, when we meet, Doors must be kept open wide - For heavens sake! " says Jim, " We've got nothing to hide! But we'd sure like our privacy, Away from this mob, Who our friendship of dignity, Is trying to rob." Yes, their love has certainly, Caused a lot of fuss; As the old gossips, Have nothing else to discuss. " We're only pals " cries Lil, In a great deal of distress; " It's digusting behaviour!" Cries frigid old Bess; "We're not running a brothel, It won't get to that stage!" Say's the haughty Mrs Sibson, Declaring the neighbours, enraged.

Hey, LIzzie, who are these old people? Just fiction? I read part two first by mistake. So I came back to this one first. NOw I will go reread part two to see what is the difference. The old gossips should just leave these two alone!!
