Jewels

When I go out I like to take
something with me that I've made.
A treasure from my heart and soul
Jewelry can make you feel whole.

Crafted by my own hands
I put love into each small strand
What I wear is a piece of me
My personality and dignity.

Sometimes mismatched
No so perfect
In my story
It lets me surface.

Classy items mixed
with strong
They fit together
No right or wrong.

What feels right is
how I choose
to dangle gems
upon life's cruise.
