Jewel
she is a singer
who's songs I love
a lot of emotion
with guidance from above
she does not judge
she understands
the triumphs of life
like in her song "Hands"
living in Alaska and singing rhymes
she started out having hard times
she lived in her car for a while
she played the guitar for cash
just so she could eat
look at her success she has made
famous for singing and writing
from where she used to be,
its an upgrade
now she has a lot of money
probley more then she can spend
she was a girl who never gave up
she stayed strong in herself
look where she is now,
she has encouraged me,
to be the best writer I can be
