Jesus Wept
Jesus Wept
Just as Mary and Martha lay Lazarus in the tomb
Evaluating the hearts that had broken with gloom
Showing up after his death had already happened
Ushered by His disciples who were also saddened
Sisters questioning Him about His delayed arrival
While they all looked at Him with questioning eyes
Everyone followed as He went onward amid their cries
Praises came upon them as they heard, “Come forth”
They were all astonished as Lazarus came thenceforth
