Jesus Was There When No One Else Was

Jesus Was There, When No One Else Was!

Jesus was there for me, when no one else was.
And reassured me that it is I whom he loves!

All of my “friends” had fled and left me alone.
I was looking at what was now an empty home.

Alone and afraid, I knelt to HIM in prayer...
I felt his presence, and knew that HE was there!

He spoke words of peace and comfort to my soul.
He said that whatever happens, he wouldn’t let go!

As Jesus brought peace and joy that was all around
The chains of fear and darkness fell to the ground.

He brought a hope and peace to my troubled mind.
He was so compassionate, forgiving and kind!

The life of ashes I had, was now in the past.
If I need a friend to help, I know who to ask!

Jesus came and loved me, when no one else would.
Everything I was going through, he understood!

Won’t you allow this savior to do the same for you?
Won’t you come and let HIM wrap his arms around you?

There’s so much more to life that he wants to give you!
He waits patiently…  Because he wants to help you!

Thank you Jesus!  For the blessings
 that we can all receive!
All we need to do…  Is reach out…. 
 And BELIEVE!
