Jesus Says
Important words are often spoken
when we hear them we instantly know
remember that we think to ourselves
it'll be useful one day truly so
There's one man who's every word spoken
was important to all who heard him
Jesus Christ the Son of God himself
a man of knowledge full to the brim
All who follow him know his greatness
for he does great things for his own
touching their life's with his power
spreading his seed till it be sown
So we need to tell all we know
of his splendour love and grace
for Jesus says to go and tell
all we know within the human race
This Jesus is full of compassion
enough to pour on you and me
no matter our troubled valleys so deep
he's sufficient to hear our every plea
Jesus is the great saviour
for he died on Calvary's tree
rose again on the third day
this he did making us free
('Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.')
