Jesus Said I Am the Way

Jesus said “I am the Way”

We live in a world in moral decay,
Where many often do as they please;
But Jesus has said “I am the way,”
So in prayer, let’s stay on our knees.

Jesus took on Himself the sins of man,
Giving us promise for the hereafter.
For without Him, there’s no eternal plan,
For He alone is the master crafter.

On the cross submissively He gave his life, 
That God the Father’s will be done.
Now, all around, we’re engulfed in strife,
And we’ve abandoned God’s only son.
