Jesus Is Coming, Maybe Now
This is a day and age of scepticism
the things of former years are denied
God's holy book is given no notice
it's laughed to scorn never be applied
But there's a day coming upon earth
when everybody's number will be up
the one who made us will say 'the end'
no second chances, look at your cup
Have you received your cup of salvation?
which God gives to all who believe
be sure your anchor is in Christ
for if not without you, He will leave
Are you ready to meet the saviour?
looking forward to that glorious day
will you be ashamed to see His face?
or have you followed His Calvary way
Jesus is coming, maybe now!
when on earth He told it so
that one day Christ would return
for His own whose hearts will bow
(This is written about what if Jesus came back today.
Would you be prepared to meet your maker with a loving and bold heart?
Or would you cower and ask forgiveness one more time?
Or would you deny Him forever?).
