Jesus, Don'T Come Back Today

Jesus, don’t come back today,
I’ve got too much to do,
Jesus, I’ll be ready for you
In a day or two.

I know it sounds a little strange,
I need at least a day to change,
I’ve got some people to repay,
So Jesus, don’t come back today.

I need to change the way I live,
I’ve got some people to forgive,
I’m busy learning how to pray,
So Jesus, don’t come back today

Sometimes people think they can change and solve all the problems without Him and then they'll make the decision to get His help or receive them. This is such a common way of thinking that it is completely laughable. All in all though, this is a great poem.
