My cousin Jerry wanted the train engineers to enjoy their ride through town, so he planted scads of marigolds next to the train track near his property and the properties of his neighbors. The engineers sounded their whistles in appreciation. The marigolds are there still, smiling at his memory and his dedication to happiness of everyone.
