Jealousy

JEALOUSY
I am the death of all that's good
the dark of darkest night
I come from what's not understood
devouring all that's right.

I feed on love and pain it brings
and your uncertainty,
the great destructor of all things
I make what you will be.

I never die or go away
but keep on getting strong
I eat at you both night and day
until all love goes wrong.

And you will surely die alone
but never comprehend
I am the death of all you've known
until your bitter end.
