Yo
I've got this man back home,
And I want to let it be known,
That he stays on my mind,
And I'll never leave him behind.
I'ts been a minute since I've seen my boo,
But I'm not too worried, because I'll see him in a few.
As the days and weeks turn into months that I can't be with him,
Yeah, of course I feel a little grim,
But our situation isn't all that terrible,
Even though at times it is unbearable.
He and I stay in contact,
Which helps us stay in tact.
But not from day to day,
We both have our paths that takes us our own way.
So until that day we've been longing for,
We'll decide on our next step for sure.
