January Tree
J ust undressing my Christmas tree she looks so bare and sad
A fter such joy she gave to me I feel so mean I feel so bad
N ow as I take her out of doors I gently rest her on the ground
U nlike when I first brought her home she looks abandoned all alone
A lthough she came without her roots I plant her in the January earth
R ight away birds start to perch break into song the whole day long
Y ou are truly needed beautiful tree as you brighten up my January
