On a cold January morn, it is so heartening to see the 'golden orb' rising ! I liked the first and the last scenes, Sara ! Love the Calla lilies!

I am glad you liked some of the lines. Right now, the calla lilies are buried under the cold earth but soon they will slowly peek out to present themselves to another year. Thanks for the visit. Sara

You have great imagination. Would flowers increase te heat in our homes. I suffer from cold too much.

No, Victor, I don't think flowers in our homes would help with increasing the heat, but they help the air inside be of better quality. They deciduous trees and shrubs around will let sunlight in during the winter and shade it during the summer. A row of windows to let the sunlight in during the day helps to bring in heat but can also let in cold at night unless insulated panes plus maybe insulated drapes to close at night and in summer to block out the heat. Your visit to my page was inspiring. Sara

What a wonderful and vibrant piece of art, Sarah. Your depiction has brought the flower to life and helped make the cold even more bearable. Best regards
