January First Break of Dawn
J-anuary first break of dawn
E-vades the days that disappear;
N-ights fade into the old,
N-ever spoiling the new
Y-ear.
R-each the final twilight,
A-im at the evening mirth;
M-eanwhile December twenty-second
I-s the day of your birth.
R-ejoice over the next episode,
E-ntering into fresh horizon;
Z-one of hope and light is the January first break of dawn.
