Jagged Edges

I had once walk this earth naked and broken
With my eyes I could not see
Finding a vein in my heart with the pulse of life
I no longer walk in the way of deceit
I was drifted to the jagged edges of my world
and the earth taking from under my feet
Arrows of truth killed my sorrow
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is to come, and
                                           today I'm at peace.

Amen. And, all we ever really have is NOW anyway ... smile ... all the rest is an illusion of our wonderfully imaginative minds ... LOL ... so glad you're at the Soup, Jay!!

I like the reflectiveness of this poem. It's very interesting how one is able to find wonderful things to reflect on. I like the essence of the poem and the message. Great job! ~Joseph

Happy to read you have found your way. Life is full of turmoil and sometimes we are led astray before we find our truth. Well done. Love, Shar
